VISA ON ARRIVAL FACILITY FOR LATVIAN CITIZENS

The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has enforced its new policy and regulation on the issuance of Visa on Arrival (VOA) facility to the citizens of Latvia as of 28 May 2007.

Citizens of Latvia can obtain the entry visa upon arrival in Indonesia through a number of designated airports and seaports. The visa will valid for 30 days period of stay in Indonesia.

The new regulation is expected to boost the number of Latvian Tourists entering Indonesia that in the past year has been increasing up to 50% with a higher frequency as business interaction between Indonesia and Latvia is also developing. The new policy of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia is also expected to enhance bilateral relations and people-to-people contact between the two countries.
